good things in small cupcakes...

I've been on a mini cupcake baking rampage recently and let's be honest - how could you not be obsessed when you're creating these delights!. If you're in the sydney area you may see them (if there are any left) at milkbar in northbridge. they have been super popular and i have had so much fun making them, especially the milk & cookies! my 3year son's favourite was miffy, he hasn't stopped singing 'miffy cute little bunny'! 

ssssssseriously sleek snake...

This was a seriously cool cake for a little snake lover. it was taller than a 1 LTR milk bottle and the inside was coloured bubble surprise...naturally. i added the mice at the last minute for a little bit of theatre and to give the poor snake a little tasty snack. 

swan lake inspo...

 I was inspired after watching black swan recently to test out some ballerina fondant cake toppers. perfect for a little girls party. i think they are so beautiful, and delicate, can't wait to try out some more colours and tutus.

this was such a fun cake to make!  it was a polka dot surprise cake for a super cute 8 year old girl. you should have seen their faces when they cut the cake only to find coloured polka dot cake inside! priceless. ps - excuse the BBQ, I was in a rush to deliver the cake!

Please give a big round of applause to Mr Shawn the sheep cake. I made this for his #1 fan on his 3rd birthday. It went down a treat at preschool morning tea!.
